HARTFORD POLICE TO CONDUCT DUI CHECKPOINT

(Hartford) –The Hartford Police Department Traffic Division will conduct a DUI Enforcement checkpoint on Thursday, July 21st, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., in the area of 440 Asylum Street, Hartford.

This checkpoint is part of the Hartford Police Department's ongoing expanded DUI enforcement program supervised by the HPD's Traffic Division and funded through a grant from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation.   2010 DOT DUI Enforcement Program.

Hartford Police remind motorists to prevent the theft of valuables by "Putting Their Junk in Their Trunk".
