DECEASED HPD SERGEANT MATT ARACE TO BE HONORED BY SOUTHEND NEIGHBORHOOD

(Hartford) - On Monday, September 17, 2007, at 5:00 p.m., in Stedman Park, the Maple Avenue Neighborhood Revitalization Zone committee will dedicate a memorial plaque and plant a tree in honor of deceased Hartford Police Sergeant Matthew Arace.  Sergeant Arace died in a motor vehicle accident on September 17, 2006.

The Hartford Police Honor Guard will participate in the ceremony.

The public and media are invited to attend.
